January 1st 2013 – the Ritz is clearly “puttin’ it on” with bright Sunshine and admirable snow melt!
Regrettably, though it seems our marketing friends at Vail Resorts have decided to celebrate with Moët Chandon (Click on photo to zoom in) and not the ECT folks favorite Champagne – Veuve Clicquot! No matter – in today’s ‘fiscal cliff’ economy we all have to make some cut backs!
I would have been playing music there that day, but was fired from a season long gig because I was deathly ill with that nasty stomach virus, and could not play on christmas day. One of the most dehumanizing moments of my life…and I’m a musician!
