Finally! Something to Cheer About – that happened in November!

by the Irish Nation

12 times challenged – 12 times victorious!

Everett-Golson

Freshman quarterback Everett Golson led the Fighting Irish (12-0) of Notre Dame from South Bend, to Southern Cal, to South Beach, Miami – and into the NCAA National Championship game on January 7th 2013, where they will face the Crimson Tide of the U. of Alabama.

Finally something to cheer about this November.  Whether it be lack of snow, a small national majority of catatonic left leaning voters – or the implosion of the Atlantic Coast Conference (right after super storm Sandy?) – The Irish held fast at the L.A. Coliseum the last Saturday nite in November and prevailed where others thought it was unlikely.

Consider.  The Irish started this College Football season “un-ranked” that nights opponent – USC on the other hand ranked #1 pre-season.

It’s been 24 years since Irish fans have seen their team win a National Championship game – now those fans have another chance to do it again, this time in Miami.

Time will tell.
