Vail Golf Course – Litigation Update

by   nothing seems to happen quickly at a Courthouse

Re:  What’s happening in the ongoing lawsuit between the Town of Vail and Vail Property owners near the Vail Golf Course 18th green?

Answer:  More public record information filed at the Eagle County District Courthouse in support of the Protective Covenants that articulate the legal argument of said Property Owners.

(Click Here) for a PDF copy of the Affidavit recently filed by Jay Pulis, Jr.  Mr. Pulis was directly (read: legally) involved in the specific verbiage of the original Protective Covenants that the Town of Vail agreed to – at the time the ownership of the land (now the Vail Golf Couse) was transferred to the Town of Vail.  The ECT has been advised that legal documents filed with (currently on file) in the Eagle County Clerk and Recorders office confirm this fact.

To say the least Mr. Pulis’s Affidavit in support of his original language of the Protective Covenants – DOES NOT help the legal claim– the Town of Vail seems to be promoting.

Interested ECT readers are encouraged to read the (4) page Affidavit and decide for themselves what the intended use for the land the Vail Golf Course – can/should be used for.
