ECT Note: Tired of would be Tax Raising Politicians in the Colorado State house?
Well Mr. Moloney’s opponent (the incumbent that currently represents Eagle County) was right there supporting the Governor trying to ram that permanent Colorado Income Tax Increase – down your throat. Time to look at an new/alternative candidate…not bent on raising your taxes…It’s a good time to get to know candidate Dave Moloney.
Steamboat Springs, Colorado – November 16, 2013
Steamboat Springs businessman Dave Moloney will contend for a seat in the Colorado House of Representatives in 2014. He will seek the post in the 26th District, representing Routt and Eagle Counties.
Moloney is a real estate broker and manages his own real estate investment business. He currently serves on the Legislative Policy Committee of the Colorado Association of Realtors, is an Elder in his church, and sits on the Board of Directors of Lift‐Up of Routt County, a community food bank and thrift store. He recently completed a term as Chairman of the Routt County Republican Party.
“Our current representative has voted to raise energy costs for rural Coloradans, attacked our Constitutional rights and freedoms, hurt Colorado businesses, and co‐sponsored the largest tax increase in Colorado history.” said Moloney. “I believe that Diane Mitsch‐Busch’s extreme viewpoints are out of touch with the majority of District 26 residents.”
Moloney moved to Steamboat Springs in 1988, having relocated from Simsbury, Connecticut, where he was a computer programmer with the Hartford Insurance company. He has been a licensed real estate broker in Colorado since 1990. He has one daughter that is currently a senior in college.
“For the last 25 years I’ve lived in this district and am proud to call this amazing place my home. I’ve run a successful business, raised my daughter, and actively invested and participated in our community. I know the challenges that face young people, families and businesses that want to succeed here. My goal as your Representative will be to improve educational and economic opportunities for Colorado families while providing good stewardship of your tax dollars and protecting your personal rights and freedoms.”
