2014? What’s your Choice?

by Clayton Moore

When it comes to the question of a ‘Colorado, Rocky Mountain High’ what’s your choice?

The photo below is our choice at the ECT.  From the height of a Chairlift…there’s nothing quite like getting first tracks on Powder Day in Vail’s Blue Sky Basin.

Meanwhile…in Pueblo West, Colorado…folks stand in line there too.  One can only imagine the collective ‘brain trust’ of these folks.  Just (Click On) the photo below to read the entire Marijuana story from nbcnews.com.  One more thing…the NBC story reported folks were paying as much as $400.00/oz.   The ECT claims by comparison the most expensive single day lift ticket at Vail is – $129.00.  That’s (3) days skiing Vail for less than what this ‘brain trust’ is paying for (1)oz. of their ‘recreation’.  ‘Nuff said.

KUSA – Longmont Police say a 20-year-old man was arrested for allegedly stabbing three teens and fatally wounding one of them early Sunday morning.
Secundino “Dino” Martinez is facing first-degree murder charges and two counts of attempted first-degree murder for the attack at a house party.
At 2:07 a.m., police were called to home on the 700 block of Francis Street on a report of multiple stabbings. Two victims were transported to a local hospital and a third victim was found dead at the scene.
Police say the initial investigation revealed that 20 kids, between the ages of 16 to 21, were partying at the home of an 18-year-old boy whose parents were out of town. According to police, there was underage drinking and marijuana consumption at the party ….

  1. So why do you think, I ever used a bong?
We know now that you do not like the new marijuana laws in Colorado. Which is fine. But you have to get used to the fact that there will be pot shops in the Valley.
There might be a lot of reasons to bash the Vail Daily for their missing journalism. But in my opinion you are not any better with your “publication”.

FYI I never consumed marijuana in my life.

    • ECT’s #1 concern is for improving public safety.
ECT notes in your comment – you did not say your (daily bong hits?) have improved your safe conduct on our roads nor slopes. Increased your alertness after your hit? ECT thinks not.
