Centura Health (Click Here) announced today (Wed. June 24th 2015) that they are coming to Eagle County, Colorado with an $11 Million dollar investment.
Centura Health will be moving into the new (50,000 sq/ft) Medical Office Building in Avon, Colorado – currently under construction by the NexCore Group. Occupancy expected by (summer) June 2016.
These new Medical Services offered by Centura Health – will bring genuine competition to the Vail Hospital for the first time – in the 50+ year history of the Vail Valley Medical Center! New Centura Health Services including a new (12,000 sq/ft) 24 Hours by 7 days a week – Emergency Center for patients arriving by an Ambulance as well as traditional “walk-in” medical patients arriving by car.
That fact will (over time) ultimately lower the Healthcare Insurance costs Eagle County families pay today.
Thank you Centura Health and NexCore Group for bringing Medical Market Based Competition to Eagle County, Colorado!
How their ambulance will fit into our 911 system. And who will pay for it are interesting questions Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
